What do we provide?
Our technology is delivered to you as a complete solution (1.3 MB PDF) and includes hardware, sample cell and software. The INPHAZE spectrometer provides highly accurate phase and magnitude measurements across its whole frequency spectrum (by a recently patented method). This allows the resolution of much thinner layers, within a surface, than conventional EIS instrumentation can provide.
What can you see?
The INPHAZE Spectrometer System reveals the nano-structural layers of your samples.
For well ordered layers you will see these structures down to their atomic resolution.
How does it work?
The INPHAZE Spectrometer System uses electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) with unprecedented measurement precision (phase error of 0.001° and magnitude error of 0.002%).
EIS applies a small, non-destructive, AC waveform to a sample and measures the subsequent attenuation and phase shift of the signal. The experiment is repeated over a range of frequencies and the results are modelled as a combination of resistors and capacitors which, in turn, are interpreted as the thickness and position of layers forming the surface, or interface, of the sample.
