This Faraday cage features inbuilt magenetic stirrer and gas purge valve. The cage should be electrically earthed and used to enclose the electrodes and cell chamber of an electrochemistry experiment. A marked reduction in signal noise can be achieved especially for low current signals (nanoamperes and less) which are typically encountered with microelectrode experiments.
