This SPE (screen printed electrode) features a carbon working electrode impregnated with manganese dioxide, along with a carbon auxiliary electrode and Ag/AgCl reference. During reduction, the manganese dioxide can converted to a lower oxidation state or even manganese metal. Suitable for amperometric/voltammetric experiments requiring a manganese or manganese oxide catalyst.
These electrodes are disposable and are meant to be replaced if fouling occurs. Each new electrode affords a clean and reproducible surface.
