Integrated Potentiostat System |
The ER466 Integrated Potentiostat System is an integrated unit containing waveform generator, potentiostat and data acquisition capability. It is roughly equivalent in capability to our EA163 modular Potentiostat and ED410 data acquisition system and can also operate as a galvanostat, ZRA (zero resistance ammeter), and high impedance voltmeter.
Connection to computer is via a USB cable.
When used with Chart software, Channel 3 and 4 are dedicated to the current and potential signals of the potentiostat, while channels 1 and 2 can be used for recording signals from other devices (temperature, pressure, quartz crystal microbalance, light intensity etc). Most voltammetric techniques are performed with EChem software. Constant potential and pulse amperometry are performed with Chart software.
Patch-clamp type experiments can be performed on tethered membrane systems with a tetaPatch for studies of ion channels using Scope and Chart software.
