Welcome to EDRACI, the Electrochemistry Division of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
The Division exists to promote the study, research, and application of electrochemistry, especially within Australia. The Division has a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, who are part of the elected committee.
Activities of the Division include:
- organization of meetings, symposia, postgraduate student schools, and local workshops
- sponsoring awards to recognise achievement in Australian and international electrochemistry
- disseminating information of interest to electrochemists via this website
- an email list to provide rapid announcements to the electrochemical community
- other initiatives that promote electrochemistry.
The next full meeting of the Division will be:
- 18th Australian Electrochemistry Conference (18AES), 15 April 2012, at Curtin University, Bentley Campus, Perth. The meeting will be a forum for the presentation and discussion of research on all aspects of electrochemistry. The symposium will feature three award lectures by the 2012 recipients of the Electrochemistry Division’s medals. Contributed lectures and posters are invited. For more details, and abstract subission contact A/Prof. Damien Arrigan.
This meeting immediately precedes the:
- 10th International Society of Electrodchemistry (ISE) Spring Meeting, April 16-19, 2012, Perth. Abstract deadline 2 December 2011. Transport of delegates from the AES to the ISE meeting’s evening registration and reception will be provided. For more details contact Dr Manickam Sundaram.
