Displacement

Many displacement and positioning transducers are commercially available that are suitable for use with e-corder. Depending on their specifications, they may connect directly to an e-corder input, or require a bridge amplifier or other signal conditioner.

The Chart recording software can differentiate a position signal with respect to time thus giving measure of velocity. Alternatively the output from a velocity sensor can be integrated to give a position signal.
