Ferrocene carboxylic acid (FCA) undergoes a reversible oxidation in aqueous solution. Cyclic voltamograms of FCA are shown above, at a 1.5 mm carbon disk electrode (scan rates 0.5 – 50 mV/s, using EA163 Potentiostat), and at a 1 µm microelectrode (100 mV/s using EA162 Picostat).
